Terms: What is a vision?

What’s a vision? A vision is a picture of the future. It describes a part of the world as you imagine it to be. A vision can be imprecise and blurry with some things very sharp and in focus. It is an envisioned future. What if you do not have a clear vision, but only a vague idea? It helps to take a step and do something, create something you can learn from, that helps you to sharpen the picture.

Another part is the ability to convey your vision to someone else. Can you describe it in a way that others can see it as well? Can you make it so tangible that others start believing in that vision?

A vision does not have to be grand and world-changing. Just being able to articulate a future state clearly enough is a vision.
