Strategy needs to be supported by processes

There’s a section on aligning processes in Stephen Bungay’s The Art of Action.1 The gist of it: Strategy needs to be supported by organizational processes that are aligned with strategy, but still flexible enough to be adaptable. Two most important processes in a company are budgeting and performance appraisal, which should be approached as a holistic whole with the strategy.
